Makes no difference, provided the price is right.

yea that one is a facelift, the give away (if standard) is the front front bumper and the oval exhausts instead of round - and no thats pretty well priced considering the mileage! On the face of it, very well priced indeed.

I personally think the price is high, I bought a 2001 model with 50k full service history for 5k last year so try beating him down

Ok so there seems to be a bit of disagreement here wrt pricing of the 2004 blue one on PH
I mean does a facelift really command that much of a difference in terms of price ?
What exactly is the difference between pre and post facelift aside from subtle appearance
What does interest me is that it says its just had the geo done so i can ask if the bolts were checked and greased accordingly -how can one actually prove that ?
I presume you cant actually do the geo if the bolts are seized -so i reckon that might be a good sign for this car
Ill give him [or her ] a bell and find out the score
do you folk think 8k is nearer the mark for the blue one ?

The roof on that one is not folding properly, so worth checking about that.

there's plenty of facelift s2ks for sale at the moment for 12K + so in my opinion that one is more than fairly priced, i think you'll find things wrong with it being that cheap...

and yes there are a lot of changes in the facelift model, facelift model is less twitchy, better suspension etc, i'm sure google can help you with exactly what was changed, or a honda dealership might be able to tell you.

Hmm the owner of the blue facelift couldn't tell me about the geo bolts despite having the geo done which seems odd and he wasnt aware of any problem wuth the roof folding
SH is with Arnold clark [not good news obviously ] till 2011 then a gap of 9k miles till 2013 at some random garage and then another service in early 2014 at another random garage
Has had bonnet respray and only done 750 miles in past 19/12 but its always sat outside
its a 3 owner car
other issue os two cheapo random tyres on the front -i have a theory that cars with crap tyres have been skimped on in other areas of maintenance
Any thoughts with that info to hand on what its worth at this time of year
I wouldnt be paying more than 8250 TBH
? one to avoid
