Advice for Neophyte on buying
yea i'm with you on the tyres theory, i looked at a lot of S2Ks before getting mine, it's so hard finding a genuine one these days, so many i looked at had questionable history and 3,4+ owners. Ironically after travelling all over the country i found mine from a honda dealership about 10miles up the road!
You need to think about resale (unless you plan to keep it forever!) so spend as much as you can on a real good one, you wont lose much, if anything on a good s2000.

Dont know if i have the either the time or energy to go looking at cars because more often than not its a waste of time
I like to see a whole sheaf of receipts so you can easily ascertain whats been done because a service stamp frankly means nothing
