Default Aftermarket seat and rail help needed!!

Aftermarket seat people help needed!

This was one of the most frustrating jobs I've done on any car due to the lack of space. This is a (cheap) fia regulated seat by a Polish rally company called mirco. It's supposed to be smaller than corbeau club sports which is why I went for it.

However, using an m2 rail and the supplied mounts, the lowest setting I can get it installed at is still the same height as oem, and the justification to get this was to get a Lower seating position.... Oh and also with this rail the slider adjustment bar will not fit in without being permanently engaged, so I've had to remove it which is annoying too..

Any advice on how to get it lower and adjusting properly? Cheers

I've used BYS Japan (Back Yard Special) rails to lower the standard drivers seat by approx 20mm
Not cheap but has made a difference
Unsure if they would help with that seat?

Is it room left between the floor mat and the seat or does the side mounts don't go any lower?
Are you sure the adjustment bar is not upside down?

Probably depends on the height of the mounting point holes in the seat/thickness of the seat base. You won't want to hear this, but you may need to try another seat.

I use a Recaro SPG on a Buddy Club rail (same as the M2 IIRC) on its lowest mountings, ditching the adjustment handle, and it's at least 2 inches lower than stock. The seat base pretty much rests on the carpet.
