Air con cold temp?
Been checking her Seat's air con efficiency and got a temp reading of 3*C, so I thought I'd try the S2, a few minutes running showed a reading of 5*C, is this low enough? Car is now 6 years od and the air con has never been touched, is now the time to have it done? Been quoted £35 by one of my customers(Kia main dealer) who bought the latest re gen machine recently from me, I know the techs there who do a good job so is £15 cheaper than the Honda dealer worth a go?
I have tried a search but not found the answers I needed BTW.

I just had my car serviced last friday, they checked the aircon and said it was running at 9*c, anything above 6*c they recommend getting it serviced so I guess you're fine.

6 years for air con is a good stretch, tbh it's probably worth while getting it vacuumed down and recharged as the lube oil will be replaced too. If you can get a deal through your contact then I'd go for it (assuming the whole world hasn't gone outside and decided that today's the day to get their air con fixed )

Well, you sold him the machine - where's your product faith?
Truthfully, six years is a good time for a suck & blow - the lube will need changing and a repressure will make it icy cold. Might also reveal a leak issue, if there is one.
Mine's not been done admittedly, but I hardly ever use it. Other than to circulate the lube...
I should get the Leg End done, as it doesn't feel quite as icy as I think it should. It made a massive difference to my old Prelude, but then I could hear gurgling in the evaporator, which was a pretty clear sign it was long overdue.
