Aircon removal impacting idle
I've recently had my aircon removed and my idle is now pulsing/cycling around 2k rpm and sounds heavier than before.
I'm using an AEM V2 ECU so I will plug in over the weekend but wondered if anyone knew what the cause of this could be? Could the shorter belt or tension difference have an impact to the existing map?
The car drives fine, but is a bit revvy when idle or with the clutch engaged.

The AEM has a closed loop idle control so there is alot of adjustment of the IACV valve without you having to touch the map.
Really you need to connect a laptop up and just check a few basic things like whether the throttle position is showing up correctly and whether the IACV is at the end of its adjustment range allowed in your map which is preventing it from getting the right idle. Whats your AFR doing when the revs are jumping around?
