An interesting one this, with the hardtop removed, soft top up, everytime I open the garage door the car alarm goes off. I have not had any alarms when its parked outside. Its a facelift 2004 model. When the hardtop was fitted, I didnt get any alarms either, and ideas ?.

Big change in pressure is probably setting the ultrasonics off.

If you feel the garage is secure once you lock the car with the fob press the lock button again for three seconds and it turns the ultra sonic off (I think). If I haven't got that right someone will correct me, I think it's in the FAQ some where.

Or unlock the car first before opening the garage door

Or just open the garage door slower so the pressure doesn't change too drasticly...
