Installed some old 6.5" speakers I had kicking about (they came out of my Almera GTI in the very late 90's!) They were super expensive at the time and still sound really good.
Just thought it would be handy but these speaker adaptors make fitting super easy
They are designed for BMW Mini but if you get the screws in at the right angle they fit a treat
Just thought that it may be helpful to someone along the line - I'm not sure if these adaptor units have been mentioned here before but it saves faffing about with MDF
