If the alarm is continuing to go off then it 's not disarming properly or is continuing to arm itself and that's nowt to do with the boot sensor. Sounds more like a fault with either the fob or the main alarm unit.

I have just purchased an 06 and once the alarm started a low pitch tweeting noise under the hood, once I got stopped it stopped in a few minutes,
i have a an issue with something draining my battery and I think it may be the alarm,
Is there a fuse or someway to disconnect the alarm to see if that’s my issue?

Thanks for the suggestions guys!!

I had some time today so go the S2000 out of the garage and into a position where I could work on the interior comfortably!

I looked above drivers knee as suggested, found a white box (marked lock assy or something similar) and a black boc. Tried with either connected but no joy.

Siren is located behind the filler pipe as suggested above, with it unplugged my CL/immob work as normal.

I could remove my siren from within the boot area, I suspect this is the problem....

I don't reckon it is taking a charge anymore, or maybe it is taking longer than normal. Does explain why I could get it turn off and stay off the other week, as long as I didn't actuate anything else on the car - but I had left it overnight in that state with battery connected, so the siren battery can't be any good.

I'll source a replacement battery and hopefully all will be well!!

This is the HP alarm system - pick up the phone to them - they are based in Essex and can provide reconditioned items etc.
