If you look carefully just above "customer infomation" it says "American Honda" this bullitin has no standing as far as Honda UK are concerned. You'll never get Honda UK to fix your soft top with that document, others have tried.

Just had a quick thought when fitting some helicopter tape onto my bike.

I've already fitted lizard skins, but wouldn't helicopter tape be the perfect solution? It's clear, stays in place and it can be shaped and fitted in any way you want, all while being smooth and tough enough for anything it touches to be protected and glide off.

I've a few meters of the stuff after my mountain biking days I could even do some deals for people wanting to buy some. At £16 a meter ( 150mm wide ) on ebay I could do 150mmx150mm for £2.50 sent or similar.

i was wondering the same thing. I have bought myself a patch kit after searching through some old posts. This does seem like a sound idea.

Normally associated with mountain bikes - try a cycling store in the first instance, same with the Lizard Skins - might be non-brand "chainstay protectors" rather than "Lizard Skins"
