Great idea!

My car is also showing signs of wear on the inside above the driver's shoulder - although mind you my car is about 9 times the age of yours

I bought some black duck tape to patch up the wear, but haven't done it yet as I'd rather not stick something semi-permanent on my roof! Your suggestion seems the best and cleanest solution.

Just ordered some as I had my roof replaced by Honda in January and have almost been reluctant to put it down until I found some thing like this.

Good one Ron. Just ordered ordered from your link. Did a search on fleabay but no lizaed skins cheaper when you include postage.

I have got away with it so far but prevention is better than cure

Just back from Halfords and bought Ron's recommendation but the "Standard" ones - nice tight fit, just how I like it!!

Quality piece of advice!

STANDARD ones My 'jumbo' ones are pretty darned tight as it is
