Default Alternative to zip ties for tidying hoses?

Evening all, especially if you've made any modifications to your engine bay that need extra hoses, and a way to mount/tidy them.

I've got a supercharger, a catch can and will eventually have an oil cooler, so that makes for a fair few extra hoses in the engine bay. Currently, I use a technique with a zip tie threaded through a small piece of narrow hose to maintain separation from whatever the hose is tied to (usually another hose or chassis member).

It works well, but zip ties have quite sharp edges, and they're not that pretty (plus I have to cut and remake every time I remove the hose). So, does anyone know of any clips or other techniques that work well but are reusable and look better?

Any thoughts appreciated,
Chris

Rapstrap? are those the traps that have flip over cover that holds the strap tight andmeans they can be released and reused?

Interesting, tricky to reuse if you cut them to length though. Might order a few to try though.

They'd be nice and soft. Could be a good shout. Maybe difficult to separate the hose from whatever it's strapped to though. Reliable enough in terms of heat, wet and unfastening by mistake though?

I think my ideal solution would be something like the clips that hold the cables together at the front of the engine near the intake manifold. They're basically a plastic 'C' clip with a small 'plug' on the back, and another with a small 'socket' on the back. One clips to one cable loom, one clips to another (or possible a hose - I can't recall without looking), and then they clip to each other, back-to-back. It seems nobody makes anything similar though, that I can find anyway.

This all sounds a bit "50 Shades" to me
