Default Annoyed....

Went to Trident today to get them to look at my wheels (re: corrosion), and asked if I could test drive their 04 demo and a nice black NSX they have.

New young guy....not overtly rude........but still irritatingly condescending.

He said that they have to 'vet' people for the NSX!!! WTF?
I could test drive the S apparently, but they'd 'see' about the NSX on the day. ( spotty salesboy! )

I've had the S for over a year.....had them do all my services, Karen's bought a car from them........
They were very happy for me to test drive their IOP NSX they used to have (different guy then), but now the need to VET me??

What do they think I'm gonna do? Run off with their kids?

Even if i was gonna buy an NSX tomorrow, I don't think I'd get it from them......harsh maybe, but that's the way they've made me feel (and as far as I'm concerned, they should be making me feel more welcome)

:rantover:

(I'll be calm by tomorrow...... )

Oh gawd...that stinks. Vet them right back! Go for a long test drive...possibly more than one. Take a ton of their time. Ask them a shload of questions, and grind the heck out of them.

Then have them eat their own words and tell them that YOU will see if they suit your needs as a dealer.

I'm putting it down to the fact he must be a new kid, as I've not seen him before.

Why they're putting him in charge of test drives, I have no idea.....

Why do you think I'm just after a drive in one?
You are making the same mistake as he did.......ASSUMING I'm not interested in buying one.
