Default another exhausting topic

I posted a few weeks back that I was after a new exhaust system and initially was keen on a twin exit design. The Invidia seemed to match my criteria, but I have struggled to find anywhere that does them. So....

I started to look at alternatives and have shortlisted the following:-

Spoon N1
Veilside Teardrop
5Zigen (either Miracle Fireball or Pro Racer A-Spec)

Anyone got any experience of these - particularly the last two. I know the Spoon N1 is popular and am looking for a loud meaty sound and am now open to single exit designs.

N1 Muffler Kit - is that Cat Back only or do all the bits in the piccies come with it?

Thanks

Rich

I laugh at this every time , its just not that loud compaired to any other single exit high flow system, infact there are louder systems on the market

@6k

Honda Standard Muffler - 91.4
Spoon Sports N1 Muffler - 105.3 (bung 93.8)
J's Corporation Circuit Muffler Special - 113
Power House Amuse R1000-Titan - 112.5

run it with the bung if you like , it comes as the pic with all you need

You can laugh - but all I'll hear is wwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I ran the N1 for 10 months / 8,000 miles.

I found excuses not to drive the car. If the car is to be used as transport the Spoon is too loud.

... still got the exhaust tho' 'cos it sounds brilliant

As I pointed out above the Spoon system is one of the quieter highest performing systems, if you don

Are you going to track the car? If so, forget loud single pipe exhausts as you'll be black flagged all too often

The bung defeats the point of getting the power from the pipe though - it will add backpressure. Maybe SSEL can confirm.

I was planning on doing a number of Track Days, but assumed that the Bung that comes with the Spoon one will bring the Volume down to the lmits. Having watched a number of video's on the net over the last few days, I think I'll opt for the Spoon N1 Kit. If it turns out to be too loud for daily use, I suppose I can put the standard system back on and sell the Spoon on here!

Thanks for all the comments/advice though - much appreciated.

Best give Ant a ring at Spoon on monday and get the order in!

The bung does knock the flow hence the lower db level but I don
