Won't be a problem tbh. I'll just cut the pins off and attach them with the adhesive tape.
I know that both badges on my car only had two pins each, so these are probably for the last Civic Type R.

Well done Mark.
Good luck fitting the rear one as it's a real pain to get to. They have a circle of metal made up of small tabs which grip the pins on the badge. You'll need to pry these open before you can "attack" the glue holding the badge in place.
