[first post ]

I'm on the hunt at the minute for my first S2000. Came across this one...V840 **C; Silverstone/Blk for sale. Its had 4 owners so wanted to see if one of you knew of it/or even owned it in the past? Cheers

Don't know it but and welcome.
On a V it will be one of the very first UK cars (assuming it is a UK car)
If you let us know where you are I'm sure one of us would be happy to look it over for you

and welcome to this August body of people.

V840*** Looks like a personal plate from a Volvo owner to me. I thought the first Ss in the UK were Ys.

May not be its original registration which could make it hard to recognise.

Sorry.

I think the T plates were demo / press cars.

First official cars were 99 Vs

Bharat

I stand corrected and better informed. It is just that one car I know was off the second boat load of UK customer cars or at least so I was told and is a Y.

Still suspect that is a personal plate. V840.

While I originally thought this (being a first boat Sept 99'er on a V myself),

I met at least one owner on a T (20 something of August) who couldn't wait the week for a V-reg.

He went on to buy another....Rodney Jackson...IIRC....

But most of the T's were Press test cars in the UK....
