Default Anyone know what this is........seems honda suppliers don't

I bought a hard top and fitting kits late last year. Got the fitting kit onto my 2002 without a problem.

Then when it came to fitting the hardtop itself my mate decided to drop the locking pin onto this plunger switch mounted on the drivers side. Obviously obliterating it.

I've been in touch with numerous Honda parts suppliers and no-one can trackdown a replacement for me (or even a part number), I've even spoken to owners breaking '02 cars and they don't even have it.

I thought it might be heated window related, but that's working fine. Alarm is also working fine.

I'm at a loss at what it does and where I can find a replacement.

HELP!!!!

I don't suppose it bypasses the folding roof switch?

Have you looked on lings?

does it prevent you bringing the soft top up perhaps?

Err what?

If its not the 'stop roof motors from putting the roof up switch then it's most likely the sensor for part of the face lift alarm which is different to the HP stuff on the pre facelift models.

From your picture it would seem it is this part, the stopper assembly.

Default I

Nothing like that on my facelift. It doesn't look OEM to me, very much aftermarket.

Maybe the "window defogger connector" looking at the hard top fitting manual -https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-ireland-s2000-community-25/technical-faq-2-0-a-181443/
