anyone removed there Fugly xenon washer jets
The only thing i really hate on my silverstone S is the black washer jets on the front bumper. Why didn't honda design them in the bumper? Anyway i want to have washer jets at the front of the car. i don't want them sprayed as i think they still look a bit crap is there an alternative?

They are apparently a legal requirement for any vehicle with HID headlights. As such, there is potentially an issue when it comes to having the car MOT-ed if they have been removed.
In practice, I'm not sure how many MOT test centres would (a) know this and (b) pick up in any event that there were none fitted to your car when there should be.

yes, there are 2 holes per washer abt the size of a 2pence piece. u could in theory, fill them from the rear, sand down and then spray the bumper to blend in.

When I removed the stock bumper - I had the choice of putting the washers on my new bumper or leave them off.
They are required by law but I doubt they would be picked up during MOT.
I don't think biker1's option is too expensive - you just need to find the washer nozzle from another car that sit flush and connect the hoses from behind. Seems simple enough.
Fingers crossed that I don't get nabbed when it comes to MOT!

Off-topic, but -- Yes they are a legal requirement in the UK. Something to do with HID lights giving off more heat and so attracting more dirt (apparently). There was a funny story on the Lexus Owners Club a few months ago where it was discovered that IS300's factory fitted with HID lights and Sports kit did not have washers - they were removed as part of the front bumper replacement. It wasn't until someone asked Lexus if they were illegal they issued a statement saying that all future IS300s with Sports kit would have washers!
Somewhat bizarre that a manufacturer does not know UK laws!
