Default Anyone thinking of a Hardtop??? Other MODS

Im going to be buying a hard top in the next 4-6 weeks.
I will probably be getting this from France/Belgium, via the Tunnel.

The price WAS about 1500GPB, if anyone else interested I will pass on the info. Maybe we can get a discount for >1 hardtop purchased.

Also Im thinking of buying some other 'mods' e.g. wheels/suspension mods. Anyone got any comments on what to get in UK?

Thanks
Chris

Ok,

final price of OEM hardtop with fitting from Brindley:

Part :Qty1 : 1446.34
discount: -115.71
Labour: 140.40
vat: 257.43

Total: 1728.46

This worked out a teensy bit cheaper than the quote they gave me..... cool

Yep !!!
Very VERY happy

It gives the outside a completely different look. The black hardtop makes it look really menacing (which i like personally)....

I'll post some pics tomorrow (as its getting a bit grey out side at the moment )

At the same time I had my clutch replacement.... ah man what a difference !!! It feels brand new again !!!! I was a bit dubious about having it taken to bits, but now I am relieved... as far as I know it was the standard replacement. I didnt ask for the counterweighted one..... anyhow, yep im all happy again, so I can get rid of the angst in my avataar

All I need is to do those damn calipers (as tonky witnessed )
But im awaiting my porterfield pads and sslines soon, so I'll do them all at the same time..

Well having seen Jonathan's hard top in the flesh as it were, I can vouch for the fact that it looks great. Very sinister in black, Mucho reminiscent of Night Rider!
