Looking at the lings diagram you also need a left and right 'holder' ( 34404S2AG01 and 34454S2AG01), although that's not mentioned in the other thread - can anyone confirm?
I replaced mine last winter and yes you need 4 brackets. Here are part numbers:
34403S2AG01 BRACKET, R. 17
34404S2AG01 HOLDER, R. 18
34453S2AG01 BRACKET, L. 19
34454S2AG01 HOLDER, L. 20
haha.. i had a bodyshop kindly put a self tapper through the fog light for this. that was fixed with silicone.. the new brackets were covered in acf50 and grease and gunk and more grease and are probably rusted beyond saving again
the back of my 2001 was messy and that was 5 years ago i guess
the crash bar looked ok powder coated though.. note this was not mine which was in awful Nick.. sorry condition.. that went in the scrap bin
