Default AUDI TT unreliable

I was just reading a survey in the Mail this morning about the most unreliable cars, and guess what the Audi TT is the worst, with 21% of owners reporting breakdowns The rest of the German cars were not much better

The Japs / Koreans came out best again, although the MG ZT also scored high

Haven't VW/Audi/Seat suffered because of a large batch of iffy Bosch ignition coils?

A friend of mine has an audi TT, her roof won't go up or down when the car is parked on an incline, good eh? Her local dealer is supposed to have fixed the problem about 4 times now!

VW spokesperson said that the sample was unreprestatively small (or words to that effect) and that the majority of the breakdowns had been down to one known cause which I took to be the coil pack issue. Sill doesn't alter the fact that they broke down!

I'm sure the nature of the TT means it's more prone to operator errors
