Not claiming to be an expert, but when my last set of Toyos went on I found the back end very skittish, even at low speeds.... I solved it by getting the Geo sorted at WIM.
The alignment was pretty out, so my theory is that the previous tyres had worn is such a way as to minimise the effect of the GEO being out, and the fresh rubber just highlighted the problem, but as I say I'm not a tyre / geo expert...

I'd not buy Toyos again, simply because of their sogginess.
I really like the Yokohame Advan AD-08s on the NSX and would recommend them; the cars' sizes/geometries are quite close. There's some caveat about speed ratings (V=up to 240Km/h) but I'm sure few of us sustain that for long.
Ultimately, the lack of decent 16" tyres at the time is the reason my S2000 has the Mugen GP wheels.
