Default berk hi flow cat check engine.

hi need a little help. i recently fitted a berk hi flow cat. from what i understood it was supposed to pass emissions test and not throw a cel fix. well once fitted it has now put the check engine light on. i tryed a reset but it has come back straight away. anyone else experienced this? what can i do to correct it?

Same here got some copper washers the other day to space the sensor out a bit.<not fitted yet>
was recommended to me on here

ps been using tape over the warning light

M18- 10 off 24.3mm O/D X 18.1mm I/D X 1.5mm from washersdirect egay £4 for 10

Ow right i was thinking of buying another extender from ebay. Its just annoying that i thought it would all be fine. Im now worried it wont pass mot

Don't think it will fail because of this
ps not going to use 10.. 3 or 4 should do fine just to space it out of the gas stream.<4.5mm-6mm >
another full spacer seems another option but 30/40mm !!

Not normal.

Buddy of mine and I have both been running 63.5mm Berk high flow cats on our cars since April. My '06 AP2 and his '02 AP1. No CELs on either. Mine just passed the Ohio E-Check test at the kiosk.

Mines a 05. But i thought they only had problems with the later models. I got it from cali second hand. Im hoping its not faulty . Maybe the sensor could have broke?

will put on spacers when I get back from W**k and update,& on the availability of some spare washers
