Best exhaust for supercharged s2000
Hi all. I'm looking at getting a hks hi power single exhaust. The reason why I want to run single is it's meant to run better for forced induction, Meaning getting the exhaust gasses out better. I'm rotex supercharged so have been looking at the hks exhaust . I'm wanting to get on track and the hks hi power states 98db so I should be alright with that. The exhaust I have got on at the moment is way to loud even with sports cat. So it has to go. Can anyone recommend and other exhaust with a low db level for a supercharged s2000

Should be avoided, it isn't a particularly good exhaust and it doesn't even sound very good. The original HKS sounded a lot better.
Single exhausts tend to be less restrictive but sound louder. For a while I had a 5Zigen Miracle Fireball and I loved it, I could shoot flames out the back of it .... however my neighbors hated it :-(

I have a Skunk2 with SC (that's a dual btw)
**** it's loud and nasty sounding, like a ****ing chainsaw! I don't think it'll pass limits on track
has anyone bought a cheap one decibel meter?

I've got Tegiwa mani, Spoon decat and Toda twin tail on mine, had the db measured last year pre S/C and it was 93, not sure what it'll be now with the SC on, but as long as its under 105 I'll be fine! (I think it will be, its not a very loud setup until you give it beans)

Supercharging makes these car soo loud. The bigger the bore size the higher the noise level. I had an ASM 70mm single that was insanely quiet with a J’s manifold, sounded really eerie quiet. Singles definitely sound ‘better’ but you’ll struggle to pass track drive by noise limits.
