Best paint to use for re-painting alloys?

Hi Guys,

I am currently in the process of re-furbing my original alloy wheels as they are badly kerbed, I have sanded the outside and the inside of the wheels down and wet and dried all the surfaces. I am now at the stage of priming the wheels and painting/lacquering. What is the best silver paint to use, a friend said to go for a silver car paint which has a metallic finish. What do you think would be the best paint to use???

Ford Moondust Silver is the closest colour match for stock 00s.

Spray a bit of cardboard in the shop then take it outside and compare? I did think about dragging a wheel into the shop but I bottled it!

Thanks Jel, the muppets at halfords got it wrong. They do have moondust silver. The wheels are now primed, just need to wet and dry them before spraying the first coat of the silver
