Best trolley jack that will reach both jacking points...?
 

Hi guys,

This may have already been asked, but I'm struggling to find anything on it!

Looking to buy a decent new trolley jack, but I want it to be low enough and long enough to reach the diff and the front jacking point on an oem height S2000. Anyone using anything that will cut the mustard?!?

I use one of these 1.5 Ton Lightweight Aluminium Chassis Racing Trolley Jack works on a standard height S2000 both ends no problem. One thing to be aware of though is when doing the front the handle touches the underneath of the bumper so needs a couple of small pumps before you get any actual lifting.

That one that Robin linked to is the one I use and it's fine. Like tozerman said just do small pumps until the handle has more room. Also, jack the front up first. It won't go under the bumper with the back raised.

Have Halfords long reach 4x4 type main issue was the size of the lifting pad being very small,rather weary using it tbh..
just bought myself an really old second hand jack with large pad area so fits on the diff housing better
Old stuff is built too last :D

You may still need to run the front tires up on boards. No big deal.

Anyone tried the Halfords low one? Its cheap but i have their 4x4 one and its held together for years.
