In those pics I've noticed that the wings are positioned in slightly different places on the boot. Would the position make much of a difference?

Yes, I think you want it as far back as possible while maintaining as strong a mounting location as you can.

The Ings one is interesting as it bolts to the rear of the boot, but the actual wing hangs back aver the lid itself.

I guess if you position it further forward, the effects of the wing are reduced at higher speeds.

Noob question, are you going to do something to the front of the car as well, I imagine that just adding a big wing might lead to understeer (which might sort of be what you want)?

I was just thinking the same, at 120mph plus turning into something like the final turn of rockingham I'd lke to know the front end is planted as most people would then possibly come off the gas inducing bad lift off oversteer. Wouldn't trackday tyres be a possible better solution?

Track tyres and a wing is what you want.

As for the front, I haven't got a standard front end but I guess it's a question (and a valid one) for Raz.

there are cheaper options on ebay then the ones mentioned above,

£700+ for a carbon spoiler is a bit much to have a name brand one,

as long as the mountings brackets are well made and the spoiler is made from decent material then a £2-300 ebay one should do the same job?

Does that come with proven design and testing Rob? You can't just bung something on and hope it works because it's a wing and it's made from carbon?! I repeat that this isn't a looks thing.
