A bit of an odd request
Has anyone got a genuine Honda knock sensor lying around for an early spec S2000?
The reason I ask is that with them being so damn expensive and so easy to break or in some cases positively self destructive I figured it would be worth stimulating one on a bench to find out what the resonant frequency of the stock sensor is and also what it's sensitivity is.
Once this data is obtained I can then cross reference is against other knock sensors and hopefully find an appropriate replacement that doesn't require a trip to the chemist for some KY. Ideally I'd like to find a branded one that would be a like for like replacement but if push came to shove a cheap Chinese clone for £7 a pop would do, as long as it does the same job at the same level of sensitivity.
