Default Bloody S

Not having a very good time with the car.

This weekend the left headtlight stopped working, stripped it down at home to find headlight lens had water inside it.

Did all the usual checks, bulbs ok, eletric is ok, fuse is ok, oohh bugger me the ballast had water in it, and of course now it's not working .

So looks like I need to re-seal the head light unit, and by a ballast for the left side.

So anyone know where I can buy a ballast, or even the whole headlight and ballast.

Thanks in advance

Kiwi

Hi, buying a ballast from the breakers is certainly an option but have you tried blasting the ballast with compressed air?

Answer to all three above questions:-

Yes I'm the guy looking to sell my S2000.

Haven't tried compressed air, not sure what benefit that would be?
Has been in the hot water cardboard all weekend, and still doesn't work.

And yes Lloyd that would be great

Regards

It's not the new layout - just a temporary glitch.

According to a thread in Site Info, cthree is aware of it and on the case.
