Bob Gerard supplied car - please help
Are Bob Gerard cars EU imports? The car I have a deposit on was supplied by in 2007 by them. Curious to know the background and what the spec differences might be, including underseal etc. The VIN starts JHMAP1.
Many thanks!

I have a 2004 car originally imported by 'Bob Gerard' which I also purchased from them in 2007.
I was advised (and have no reason to believe otherwise) that it is identical to any UK supplied car.
That included the immobiliser/alarm specification.
At 23k miles now, the only parts I have had to replace are battery and tyres!
Buy with confidence.

As above I can confirm it will be an EU import 100%.
when I worked at a Honda dealer years ago it was said that Bob Gérard used to be a Honda dealer but lost the Franchise.
the car should be fine, no matter who supplied it, the usual Caveat Emptor applies.

I bought a new car S2000 from Bob Gerard in 2006. It was an import that came via Cyprus but was full UK spec as were all the later cars they supplied. Had a few issues with it that were all sorted under OEM warranty (including 2 sets of wheels and a new engine) without issue by Honda.

Can confirm the above, I bought a new 2007 EU import from Bob Gerard as it was quite a big saving. There were just no optional extras available and no hardtop. My local dealer had no problem with servicing it etc. and I had no problems with the car.
It makes me laugh seeing cars with 20k miles or so for sale at £30k now. The dealers couldn't give new S's away around 2009 - I remember Bob Gerard's price dropped as low as £17,999 at one point!

All the 2.0 engine car VINs start with JHMAP1. No help there. The whole VIN is what we need. Model year is digit 10.
