Brake packages
Looking to see what deals are around at the moment.
I need pads front and rear, discs front and rear. Braided lines also a possibility.
Currently using Ferodo DS2500 all round with bog standard (bremtech or equivelant cheapness) discs.
open to suggestions.

You don't really need braided lines.
I only replaced mine because of old age (the car's, not mine ) and I can't say I noticed any change in braking feel or performance.
The Dixcel Z pads are great for road and some track. They are expensive, though, so you may as well stick with the Ferodos if you are happy with them.

I bought dixcel slotted discs, es pads and hel braided lines - yes had fitment issues with them!.
Initial bite and feel is great but not 100pc worn in yet before I really push them.
I don't know the general consensus my car is tutbod but upgrade tyres first (ad08r), then pads, discs and then lines, I think to better this you'll need better 4/6 pot calipers and for that you'll need bigger discs to improve without it won't be much difference on standard disc size. So it's around the 500 region then a jump to ~£1700 for just fronts caliper/pads/discs.
You can improve on standard brake setup a little for sure with tyres and pads/discs then the above.
I cracked a rear disc down the middle I did a few weeks ago push the brakes a lot not sure if this Sent it on its way.
