Brake Pads

Hi
I know its probably been done to death somewhere but i cant find it in the search. But can anyone recommend a good set of pads for my forthcoming M.O.T.I was looking at EBC Red Stuff but im unsure as ive heard a few conflicting on these?.

Thanks Bris

For road use, OEM, red stuff or brakes international (cheap!) are fine. It's only if you do track work that something better is needed.

My brake pads appear to be Ferrodo, these are very good are they not?

Ive had no issues with Reds on two track days.

Work ok on road, need a bit of heat for best performance though

Depends on which compound. DS2500's are the famous disk crackers that myself and lower use, amongst others.

I cracked my EBC disks with Redstuff

I thought redstuffs were very good, road and track. Not as good as the Ferodo disk cracker pads.

I just thought i'd say hello and flash my avatar :D

Honda OEM pads are very good for road use.

Has anyone noticed any difference in performance with brakes international pads / disks and standard Honda OEM ones?

I have front pads /disks coming up and don't really want to remortgage my grandma to get Honda to do it so was going to get some from BI and fit them. I think the price difference (in favour of BI) is silly...
