Default Brakes - New discs & pads - Which ones?

Hi all,

My apologies to ask a question that no doubt has been asked before, however although I've read quite a few threads I could with some clarity.

I'm looking to replace my OEM disks & pads in the next few days & looking for advice as to which ones to buy.

I don't track the car & if I'm honest I don't drive it to it's potential on the road either; I know.

Please could you help advise the best place / parts to buy that would meet my needs?

More than likely I'll be replacing the fronts only at this time, but I may do the rears also depending on price.

Thank you for reading my thread.

Cheers

The Honda pads are fine for road use, and pretty cheap from Si at Hendy https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/852...-parts-thread/
Avoid Tegiwa as their brake prices are a rip-off.

For discs, pretty much anything will do from Euro Car Parts, Brakeparts.co.uk

Ok superb thank you - Discs wise I should be fine.

Any alternatives to the OEM pads if I can't get any in time from Si?

Are Cox Motorparts any good?

They're doing OEM front pads for £40 (Hendy at £62)

Burn!

I had assumed they would be overkill for how I use the car?

They are excellent, but give Si a chance to price match and support the forum traders.

Note the Cox price is ex VAT, so it's £47.83 inc.
