So yeah mine didnt give any abs light at all.
I have a light at the moment because i pulled the fuse to see if that would cure the issue I was having but it didn't.
ABS pump should be here by friday so will see what happens

Wow the 04-05 ABS pump is tiny compared to the old ones!
Anyway, bagged it for £32 off an 04 with unknown miles, sending off to ECU testing for refurb, hopefully in two weeks time i will get the bracket and bolts from honda

Fingers crossed it fixes the issue!!

Why would you send the abs unit off before trying it, sounds like you are going via Moscow to get to London,

So my reasoning is even if it doesn't cure the problem i am going to run it as its ultimately a better unit than the original and considering no one can diagnose my old unit i wouldn't want to put it back on.
So if i am going to run this new ABS pump anyway i might as well just get it refurbed whilst i wait for the brackets etc to arrive.

Great so they cannot test this unit either... I am going to fit it when it comes back and see if all is well.
Does anyone know of a testing company that can read these bloody ABS pumps?
My Serial number is D06-A18569.

just put it on and see if it works?

they fail due to heat and dry joints, your lack of heat shield and sc caused the original issue but mine has been fine including a brief, hot, track excursion for 2 years

i'd put it on, gravity bleed and see if she moves.. month 4 now.. it would be grinding my gears dude

there are not many servicable parts in one of these and mine looked mint inside.. just the heat killed the lectrics.

your abs light should light and then go out after the self test unless it detects a fault which would be cleared if moving (having been fixed)

I had no lights when my brakes stopped working so that's why I wanted to know if the original ABS pump was at fault or not but after everything i have checked/changed, the only thing left is the ABS pump.

Did you try the bypass surgery to prove it is definitely the pump?

I'm getting irritated on your behalf!

I couldn't find anything suitable to join the pipes annoyingly.
I am going to bodge the new abs pump in this weekend just to see if it cures the holding. If it doesn't then i will really pursue joining the pipes, if that fixes the issues then i will just remove the ABS all together.
