ok, bracket has arrived so new 2005 ABS pump will be fitted Saturday and see if brake issue gets fixed.
This will prove if newer versions of ABS pumps work on the older cars too as mine came with the older style being 2003.

Good news:
New ABS pump is in and working great with no lights on etc so yes you can put a 2005 pump in a 99-03 car with no issues, just need to change the bracket.

Bad news:
Still had the same problem so removed the 4 pots and put OEM back on which fixed the issue.

Conclusion:
Revert to OEM before replacing things!
Have a phone call scheduled with manufacturer at 1pm (current time 1:49pm...).

I did suggest testing everything from the master down to the caliper this would have shown your fault , 4 pots and cars that are tracked regular suffer from caliper bind due to the seals losing there ability to retract slightly

Well, the 4-pots certainly stopped the car effectively.

Always start with the bleedin' obvious in future.
