I know what you mean. You can almost hear what they are thinking when you rattle off your list of commands to them when stood at the service desk.

Even then it doesn't always get done...and if they don't write it down, they just deny it...

But agreed entirely...you wonder if you being so prescriptive makes them LESS inclined to help you...

Agreed - never met him but Dave has been incredibly helpful during the buying process.

I'd consider travelling his dealership to have my car serviced too.

Sorry you've had a rubbish service but hopefully it will all get sorted now.

I wish i had never taken my car there ever

I just had a call from them and they said because the spark plugs werent due for a change there would be no reason for them to touch the cover. and they said i should speak to the person that installed the cover. The spark plug cover was installed by me and i can assure you it was not cross threaded when installed.

all they offered was me to drive the car in so they can clean my engine bay

I live 30 miles away im not going to drive in just so someone can give my engine bay a wipe with a rag
