In the end I thought I would give it a go with these. As far as I can tell (and I certainly am no expert on this) they appear to be well made. I thought that the cross hatching on the inner bore that rotates on the shaft was quite a good idea to hold the grease that they supply. I had seen people machine spirals and grooves in the steel inner to hold the grease. They were a perfect fit in the set of suspension arms I have. I haven't fitted them to the car yet due to the weather. It's hard to work in a snorkel and mask. I accidentally bought the slightly harder ones. I didn't mean to, but the camber bush they supply (which I am not using) is the softer red material. Comparing the two, there is precious little between them. the softer is 80 Shore, the harder 90. Allegedly. I think the Powerflex purple are 80.

Anyway, now I know how, if they all fall to bits and I crash and burn, then I can easily replace them. The hardest bit is getting the old rubber bushes out. The polybushes are a doddle to fit.

I use the strongflex ones on my CRX track car and they have been fine for the 18 months I've been using them.

Did you not keep hitting the blades on the subframe? Using the saw?

I could not get on with the one i borrowed and wreck 5 brand new blades.

I'm trying to find out why i shouldn't use the caster bush in this set, other than not being a compliance bush, will it ruin the handling?

Hit it few times but have bi-metal blades they dont break so much,<advise Get good blades>

Front compliance,<caster>active steering correction with metalastic type <used for stability>

so will lock up more perhaps with The solid type and will loose the forgiving handling

Though would get used to it i recon

Looking at the OEM bushes there is hardly and rubber anyway. Not sure if polybushing is really much of a benefit!

Unless of course the rubber part of the bush as broken up!
