Not the best of photos, but the car is back from the bodyshop with two perfect bumpers, and treated, painted and protected brackets.

If local to anyone, I can highly recommend Kieran at Harpenden Classic and Performance Bodyshop. I’ve been using him for years and he’s fantastic.

Next stop for the car is TGM Sport in Fleet the week after next, for the following work:

- New discs and pads
- Braided brake and clutch hoses
- Motul RBF600 brake fluid
- Evans Waterless Coolant
- All fluids (diff, gearbox etc)
- Valve clearances
- Spark plugs
- Geo

What did the back of the car look like?

My crash bar was awful so got a newer one and powder coated it, the rear under the bumper I waxoyled

I don’t have any other photos but apparently the rest looked ok. Generally, I’ve a feeling this car doesn’t age as gracefully as the German stuff!

They have weak points, that rear end which you've looked at, the arches, around the tank..

I undersealed mine at JR classics years ago but it has been a daily so seen plenty of salt
