Default Buzzy rattle at 3000rpm

Just noticed a rattle this morning which sounds like it's coming from the centre of the dash (but could be anywhere down the middle of the car). Occurs at about 3000rpm when coasting (ie decelerating) and guessing it's just caused by resonance and somethings just come loose, or worse could it be something to do with the gearbox/transmission? Not too loud or worrying at present but want to make sure it's not a sign of something more serious. Does this sound relatively normal?

051 clutch, if you search there's loads of threads about it!

Nick.

So it's not your pipe in the glovebox or your teeth then?
Sorry.

I have that noise and its because I haven't upgraded to the 054 clutch. The noise is intermittent and the clutch is fine so I can;t be bothered with the expense

I'm sure the 051 - 054 clutch problem was sorted by 03.

Nick.
You mean 054.

Not an issue in 2002 and newer cars.
