Default Bye bye S2000

Hi

Sold the S2000 over the weekend. Originally bought by my Dad from David Hendry Cars (Euro import) back in March '05. I sadly wrote off my VX220 Turbo in July '05 and then bought the S2000 from my dad then. Has been a fantastic car, absolutely nothing gone wrong (as you'd expect!) Sold with 23.5k miles on it. Went for

Ha ha good question - guess I'm not entirely away as Dad has his - we've had 3 in our family so far so likely to be around an S2000 for a while longer. Ultimately.... probably won't have another as sports cars are going to be off the agenda for a little while what with recently getting married, house to buy and the the usual things that leads to.....

By the time I'm back in the market, things will probably have changed a bit in the sports car world (though hopefully not). We'll see.

Cheers

Ummm thanks for the vote of confidence...... there was a 110k diesel 2005 Civic on the 'trader for about the same price. Too lazy to shop around and the Civic engine is not particularly refined. Though not sure why I was so keen to get a diesel in the first place!

Oh no.... more bad news. Only slight hope is that I'm, guessing his is the 1.8 TDCi rather than the 2.0TDCi developed with Peugeot/Citreon. Plenty of research required I think!
