Calling all importers
Guys & Girls,
Dogbiscuit & I are about to sign our deposits away for an import through Automodena. Before we do this, we would be really interested to know what people are paying for 2001 & 2002 models. Oh and if anyone really knows what Sebring Silver is like in the flesh, we would like to know that as well.
Thanks

For Sebring Silver look at any 4th gen silver prelude (the nice shape before they brought out the boxy 5th gen) or any silver NSX. Both these case use Sebring Silver. Its a much lighter silver than Silverstone. I have owned both and IMO Silverstone is the nicer colour.

I agree with Jason about the 4th gen. prelude - what a great looking car (WTF happened with the 5th gen????? ) I also owned a Sebring Silver Prelude 2.2 VTEC (and was close to tears when I sold it!) IMHO it is a nicer colour than Silverstone - it is a very 'bright' silver - it always reminded me of mercury.
However, as I have posted on more than one occasion, it is notoriously difficult for bodyshops to get a good match with in the unfortunate eventuality of needing a panel re-spray (ICI carry 13 different Sebring Silver colour codes/shades, they carry 1 Silverstone. Go figure!)
I am sure the S2000 will look stunning in SS - there was a great picture posted on the main car talk of an SS S2000 at the Frankfurt motorshow (I think).

Isn't there a silver blue coming too? I seem to remember seeing that on the Honda Jp website (so I couldn't tell what the colour was!). I think the best way to describe it would be a blue silverstone (if that makes any sense). I thought it looked absolutely stunning and really captured the taught bonnet lines.
Mind you after following S2000's I think the back from square on is one of the best views of the S2000. The front just doesn't capture how wide the S2000 actually is! (Mind you, the back view does have a resemblance to Chimera/Cerbera )

This probably explains why every two brain cell moron boy racer in the North West thinks it fun to tailgate me in built up areas

I once got a big slap from Pam for sidestepping the clutch and out dragging a Cavalier. OK I deserved it as there was a stationary car in my lane about 200m in front so I had to pull infront of the Cavalier. AWD off the line is awesome, but not for the mechanically sympathetic

That'd be something to see, a 1.0 Micra slushbox with a blue rinsed driver reving up next to your scooby at the lights
I may have done the local juvenile's a diservice, to be fair the people who seem to have the biggest problem are 40 somethings in mid range rep mobiles. Being objective though I do pretty much try and drive close to the posted limit in built up areas, this may p1ss off the rep in a hurry...

This really makes me mad, in a built up area there's little need to break the limit (OK we all go over it now and then but I'm sure we don't make a habit of it). What really makes me mad too is the fcuker in the car 2inches off your back bumper in a 30..... and then he pulls out and overtakes in the 30.... only to hold you up when at national speed limit
They give performance car drivers a bad name.... "You have a fast car therefore you must be evil".....
