Default Can't get it started!

So I have been trying to start the new engine I have fitted (from a 2004 facelift with 24,000 on the clock) for months!

I have tried many options.and to date all I can get is the engine turning over!

The ECU I have is a hondata ECU which Is mapped for boost, so I bought a new ECU and code reader and key...

The ECU for the new engine is gone and I have the steering Collum with matching key and transponder however have no matching ECU for it, is it an option to get a stock ECU re-coded? My (useless) local Honda tells me they can't but I have heard otherwise of a member on this forum?

I bought a full matching set of ECU, key, steering column with transponder. However the plugs don't seem to match the wiring in the car (1999 jap import).

On the original steering column there is a green plug that's double as Long as the green plug on the new one and has no black plug underneath.

On the New steering column that came with the new set I bought the plugs dont fit the wiring in the car although I have a matching ECU and key to match the steering column and transponder!! it has a green plug that's half the length of the one on the original Column and a black one that is the same length as the green on the original...!!

Maybe should I get the Hondata ECU mapped for an n/a s2000 and it will work with my original set up?

Just a pain in the arse because I want to get the car started so I can take it for a drive and enjoy the little sun we get!!!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!and sorry for the long thread but I am baffled!!!

Cheers!

If you have a search for the Js racing ecu topics, it tells you which wire to ground to disable the immobiliser which should mean you can run any oem ecu.

It might not be an ideal permanent solution but it could help you work out what's really wrong!
