Default Car Pit Required - Not Carpet

Hi All,

I am hoping to get lucky here.

My local garage wont allow me to use their car pit to do some undersealing of my S2000 as an untrained professional.

Does anyone have a car pit in the South East / Uckfield or surrounding area that I could use for a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday?

I would be forever grateful!

Thanks,

Ed

Not sure it helps but you could try one of these, but you’ll have to get down their early...

I have a pit in one of my garages which you are more than welcome to use but I think I am too far away..
There used to be places where you could hire a car lift by the hour, are there any near you?

Seriously Ed, call around your independent tyre and exhaust people, some are more than willing to help with the expectation of future business, with spare ramp time early in the week.

Good call that rich, exactly what I was going to mention and especially if it's your regular mot/service garage.

Most garages arn't insured for what you want to do. You hurt yourself they won't be covered.

The tyre guys I use insist on raising and lowering themselves with me at a safe distance, and insurance liability is up to me with a written note disclaimer

cost, beer tokens..
