Car takes time starting up after stalling
Hey guys. Had a quick search and found others having similar problems. It's rather annoying. Have to turn the ignition on and then off once or twice until
I can start it up again. Why does this happen?
Thank you

Unburnt fuel still in the cylinders I'd guess. Injectors are still firing whilst the car is cutting out, which stops combusting. Start up and you have extra fuel in there hence it needs pumping out. My theory anyway.

If you dont mind me asking how is the car stalling? Is it driver error or is the car struggling to idle properly?
I cant think of once in 2 and a half years of ownership that my S2000 has stalled on me. Its always very quick at recovering its idle speed. Even if your quite crap with the clutch it will recover from low idle speeds no problem.

No it's driver error, for example very rarely if I stall
It whilst parking maybe the car won't start up immediately when I push the starter button. I have to switch off the ignition once or sometimes twice and then try again. Found it rather odd then read other s2000's have the same problem

Yeah I'd go with your theory actually MB it makes sense.
Just annoying as I stalled in a car park the other day and was blocking traffic whilst trying to start up the engine again
Lol
