I'm looking forward to it. Never done Combe before, but I've done Silverstone, Spa and the 'Ring plenty of times so I know what to expect (ish). But it's always been in FWD or 4WD cars.

It's a great track, have done 10 or so days there in various cars over the years as it's my local, quarry can really bite as avon rise can unsettle the car on approach, so just go easy up there until you settle in.
A very rewarding track for, probably my favourite, enjoy!

I once took a car to be noise tested at an MSE day, though I was only there to noise test it as it really did sound like it was too loud.
It came back at 106db and the sound tester had a massive panic attack as he thought I wanted to get out on circuit.

Neighbours.
Don't forget that Mallory was very nearly closed altogether because the circuit operators were running more track days than they had permission for at noise levels above the agreed limit. Race tracks need to co-exist with the local population, and need sanction for their operations. They will apply for approval for however many race weekends they require at a certain noise level, and a number of track days at whatever lower level can be agreed.
