Default Castrol Edge £75.6 for 12 litres, £39.6 for 6 ltr Delivered

Very quietly so I don't start an oil war on the forum, but I've just received 12 litres of Castrol Edge from ppcgb.com (Have two cars to service in the next month, plus the top up for some time yet...).

Ordered Tuesday morning and arrived Wednesday.

http://www.ppcgb.com/products/castro...r-oilc00012x12

Also have it in different quantities for different prices:

1 ltr £7.51
4 ltr £26.4
6 ltr £39.6
12 ltr £75.6

all for 1 litre bottles of 5W40

Also have the 4 ltr bottles for £43.06

Not sure if it is always free postage, but I wasn't charged it for the 12 litres...

Was going to post the 4l for £31.50 I was just about buy on offer at Euro Car Parts but spotted this so 12l on its way. Got an additional 5% discount for liking them on facebook (only time Ive logged on in since signing up several years ago), Issued code didn't work but gave them a call and they put it through manually, so £71.50 for 12l. Happy days

I've not had to put anything in my honda yet, I could have sworn I read that though. Glad I haven't bought any yet!

5w40 is what most of us put here. You can also put 10w30 (Not sure what the benefits of this however, if any)

5W/40 if you want your timing chain tensioner to live, and if you have an older car not have it slurp it down. And Castrol edge (edge or TD) are my favourite flavour yummy.
