I had the same thing a few months back on my 08.
I can recommend the Berk 63.5mmm High Flow Cat. If S2K Tuning have one, it's about £260, but there can be a long wait if he's out of stock. I was quoted 2-3 months, so went direct to Evasive Motorsports in California.
It cost about £50 more (VAT and duty), but I had it in 3 days. Really nice bit of kit, well made, stainless, not loud, and passed MOT.
Several people warned against a cheap Chinese one, and an OEM cat is about £1400!

+1 For the Berk Cat. Tarmac Sportz are another UK firm who sell Berk products, maybe worth a shout too.

Default Catalytic converter

Hi some while ago i purchased a new cat from AA Carparts on ebay for my standard S2k. Absolutely no problems and no issues with the mot emissions. Looks well made and is advertised now at £93.82 with free delivery. Save your money !

I bought one from eurocarparts for similar price as above and it lasted 2 years before falling apart.

FYI OEM cats are around £400 not £1400.........

^ Second hand you mean? As far as I know a new one is £1600 without the heat shields.
