CD changer removal
 

Hi, I've got a 99 S. Had it for 12 or 13 years now.

I have the dreaded water leak in the boot.

I have searched and cannot find how to get the CD changer out. I need to clear the boot to dry out.

Can anyone help, please?

Randomly there is a nut or nuts underneath the car

There is a exterior nut to slacken and take off. It live on the flat part behind the rear passenger wheel. It will probably be covered in black mastic to waterproof it. You will have to clean that off to find the nut. From memory I think it’s a 10 mm. The 2 screws you remove from inside. You will need new raw plugs if you’re refitting the CD changer.
