Centre cap refurb jig

Anyone any good at 3D cad and 3D printing, I'm not!
I had a notion that we could produce a "club tool" to help reworking centre caps.
It would need to be a cylinder with an ID of 70mm (possibly 71 or 72 by trial and error) an OD wide enough to provide some rigidity say giving 5mm wall, deep enough to let the bottom edge of the cap to be filed say 8mm. Some support for the 5 clips to prevent the cap rotating in the jig. A rigid bottom 10mm or so and a hole in the bottom to accept a 5mm bolt with washers and nut. The whole thing would be mounted into a drill chuck or whatever to allow removal of the old finish, help in applying speed tape to the cap and "scotchbriteing" the foil, and for spinning whilst applying a sealing finish. I can do a hand drawn sketch of what I'm on about. any volunteers? I cant even draw a circle in CAD!

I don't mind banging something out for you in Inventor. Will need a picture though, as it's not clear to me how you will be retaining the cap...

Thanks I will knock up a sketch at the weekend.

Just had a search, that is mighty expensive software!

I just slapped my caps on the end of core drill bit!

I just used a hole saw drill bit, covered in enough masking tape to make it a tight fit inside the centre cap.

See further down this particular post in my old project thread:
