Cheap effective X brace? is there such an item?
As the title says, Im just on the look out to make it a little more ridgid. Has anyone who has fitted these noticed a great deal of difference?
I was also thinking about for the future putting on strut braces, front maybe rear too. Thanks in advance  |

It makes the steering feel sharper. I have installed both "X" and "Tower" brace. |
how much did that set you back out of interest? I take it these things are designed to add little weight to your car...
thanks |
I've done the same as Steven (or vice versa :D ) and the steering is indeed sharper. I bought my braces from Muz or Rick's (I cna't rmember which, although no doubt there's a direct link in my sig below ;) ) - about

I got mine from Muz. I can't remember what I paid but it was just over
|
thanks guys I may buy these for my car towards the end of the year

You could buy both from muz, and a CAI, and see if he'll do you a deal for all 3 :)

I have the same muz/whiteline lower X brace made from aluminum with a carbon fibre strut brace. Stiffens it up well! Improves steering but U do feel the bumps more!

on FAQ section at Racing and Competition Forum states that a stiffer sway bar will increase handling on the car.

Not speaking as any form of expert, just recalling the caution that those far wiser than me advised. |
