Here's a handy site for comparing stats:
http://www.letstorquebhp.com The RWD section: http://www.letstorquebhp.com/rwd.htm The S has a not too shabby 5.71 0-60 time, 14.07 quarter mile. Porsche Boxster S, 5.5 & 13.84. Noble M400 3.47s & 11.65  |
Nissan 350Z 5.90 14.12
Nissan 350Z Convertible 6.14 14.47 |
Seat Ibiza Cupra Tdi 7.78 0-60 21.65 0-100. Don't tell Crusoe :sssh: :D
Mind you, those figures are all rubbish anyway as they're all theoretical: Remarkably the formulas have been set-up for just 3 items of easy available data: BHP, Weight (KG) and drive type. We also list a 'through 60-100mph' time, a true indication of a cars acceleration once moving. We do not take into fact the torque, gear ratios or aerodynamics because this data is not easily available. You can't ignore gear ratios, or the shape of the torque curve when doing this stuff. Peak power means nothing. |
